Stone Friend ("we", "our", "us") operates the Stone Friend mobile application. This page informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of personal data when you use our app.

Information We Collect

We collect minimal information necessary to provide our services:

• Authentication Data: When you sign in with Google or Apple, we receive your name and email address to create your account.
• Display Name: A nickname you choose for competitions and community features.
• Climbing Data: Routes, sessions, grades, and statistics you create within the app. This data is stored locally on your device and optionally synced via Firebase.
• Videos: Climbing videos are stored locally on your device. If you choose to upload videos for competitions or sharing, they are uploaded to our cloud storage.
• Analytics: We use Firebase Analytics to collect anonymous usage data (screen views, feature usage) to improve the app experience. No personally identifiable information is included.

How We Use Your Information

• To provide and maintain the app's functionality
• To manage competition participation and leaderboards
• To display your display name in competition contexts
• To improve app performance and user experience

Data Storage & Security

Your climbing data is primarily stored on your device. Cloud-synced data is stored securely using Google Firebase with appropriate security rules. Videos uploaded for competitions are stored on Cloudflare R2.

Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

• Firebase (Google) — Authentication, database, analytics
• Cloudflare R2 — Video storage
• Google Sign-In / Apple Sign-In — Authentication

Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or transfer your personal information to third parties. Your display name and competition scores are visible to other competition participants.

Data Deletion

You can delete your account and all associated data from the Settings page within the app. This will permanently remove your account, competition data, and uploaded videos.

Children's Privacy

Our app does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent and believe your child has provided us with personal data, please contact us.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.
